THE $50,000 BRISBANE MAHJONG CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES HAS ARRIVED!

Mahjong Australia, in conjunction with The Star Casino Brisbane, are proud to announce dates for our inaugural 2025/2026 $50,000 Brisbane Mahjong Championships.

This is the first Championship Series of 2025/2026 where $50,000 will be won!

We value our Brisbane players and are excited to be able to offer you a way of taking part in the $50,000 Brisbane Mahjong Championship in Brisbane in January 2026!

Come and experience the excitement during the 3-day series 15–18 January 2026!

All you have to do is play a minimum number of mahjong games between 1st September and 31st December.

HOW TO QUALIFY FOR $50,000 BRISBANE MAHJONG CHAMPIONSHIPS!

What is VIP Status?

A VIP status is what you need to qualify for Special Events. There are three levels of VIP Status — Silver, Gold and Platinum.

How do I earn my VIP Status?

Your VIP Status is earned every 4 months. The more games you play during the 4 months, the higher the VIP status you earn.

Games Played between 1 September and 31 December 2025:

40 GOLD $15,000
60 PLATINUM $25,000
Qualification Details

HOW DO I QUALIFY FOR THE $50,000 BRISBANE MAHJONG CHAMPIONSHIPS?

Silver VIP Status — Play between 1st September 2025 and 31st December 2025 and qualify for the $10,000 Special Event. Play at least 20 games during this period to qualify.

Gold VIP Status — Play between 1st September 2025 and 31st December 2025 and qualify for the $15,000 Special Event. This includes Silver and Gold VIP Status events. Play at least 40 games during this period to qualify.

Platinum VIP Status — Play between 1st September 2025 and 31st December 2025 and qualify for the $25,000 Event. This includes all Silver, Gold and Platinum events. Play at least 60 games during this period to qualify.

Bring your friends and make the effort to qualify so that you can experience mahjong finals with an incredible atmosphere!
